Mary Celia Carter Gregory is very pleased when we who work at the Village at the Harbour remember all of her name. At 95 she’s one of six or seven residents in their mid nineties.
Before she moved to the Village, she lived on Harrison Avenue where this monster Rhododendron puts on a show mid spring.
I drive the van for occasional trips out on the island to stem cabin fever and give the residents an opportunity to see some lovely sights. This Rhody is very popular, not only because of its size, but for the vibrant color display.
