Dedicated Daughter

Dedicated Daughter

Virginia Evans, like many of our residents at Village at the Harbour, came from off island to be looked after by her youngin. Some of the offspring place (I was going to say ‘dump’ but that’s too cruel a word) their parent(s) here and basically forget them.

Not so Virginia’s daughter Linda, seen here tending some pansies she bought her mom. I’ve mentioned Linda before in these posts, how she sets the bar high by her example of love and dedication to her mother’s needs.

She’s not the only one doing dedicated service, but she’s the most visible because she’s here so often. Here’s to the kids of character who are stepping up and paying it back for the care they received as little ones.

  1. Love this. I think we all hope we’ll have ‘kids of character’ when it comes our time to be in the wheelchair and seniors’ home.
